This week’s Ruby Tuesday is food again … it’s all about food just lately for me.
Mr H uses so much onion each week in cooking. I think we probably go through at least one kilo (approximately 2 lbs) each week … white, brown and red.
We eat them cooked in food (generally brown) as well as raw in salads … hence the red skinned onions.
Either way I love them.

Actually, I like the 'red' onions best myself...they're so sweet to the taste buds.

Love chopping up red onion and putting it in my salads - last night it was in a bean salad.

We use a lot too. In fact, everything my husband cooks starts with "first fry an onion and then while it's cooking figure out what you're making" LOL.

I am the biggest fan of onions in our home. And the Bermuda/red onion is so good. Last night I roasted an onion, and cooked it was so sweet. A healthy treat, and a wonderful ruby!
Never a day without onion or garlic, preferably both.
