Quick trip

I made a quick trip mid afternoon to see Horace to drop off some clean washing and see how he was.

All I can say is he keeps getting better. He looks absolutely like his normal self, only thinner, and is now getting up and moving around with far less discomfort than I would ever have imagined after only ten days.

He's using a walking frame and wandering frequently around the hospital. It's amazing to see after two years of moving only where he had to and hunched over with the pain. He's obviously not walking fast or even with any great fluidity but ... wow! I have great hopes he's going to make a really recovery.
