I think it's because they can be seen easily. This is such a cute little box.Canada's boxes are red but I think they are blue in the U.S. :)
Maybe it so we won't miss them. red has always been a color of Danger.. so the fire hydrant makes since, But the Mail box?My Ruby Link for you
