What could be nicer than posting my favourite sweet .. the lovely Dime bar.
These can be hard to find in Australia. They're imported by specialised sweets stores and can be pretty expensive ... $2.60 to be exact. I got this one yesterday in the city in the UK store on Collins Street.
Miss C likes them as well so I have to hide them!
Visit MaryT at Work of the Poet for more ruby redness.
EDITED TO ADD: I really should have explained what a Dime bar is .. so here goes. It’s a crunchy butter almond bar covered in milk chocolate. Apparently Hershey’s in the US produces a similar bar called a Skor. And even better, Daim bars are imported from Sweden and sold in all Ikea stores in Australia, the US and Canada … to name a few. I can see a trip to Ikea to stock up on the horizon! LOL

Sweet tooth eh?
Nostalgic Marveling
I'm wondering what's in them that makes them so yummy!
Sounds like a Heath Bar...better than Skor in my opinion. LOL
I'll take a couple. No, wait...at over $2 a bar, I'll stick with my $1 Heath. LOL
...I do hope you can find time to stop by and view my Ruby Entry. I'd love your company. Happy Tuesday!!
We go to IKEA a lot I will have to look for it. I love almond and chocolate.
My Ruby Link for you
That is expensive for a bar of chocolate. But what the heck, if you're happy with it, go for it! Happy RT!

chocolates can really be sinful heheh :)
u may view mine too here
Sure thing, I have found some smaller ones, but I think the problem will be that the jars are so huge. xxNick
Sounds tasty - if it tastes anything like a Heath bar, those are great!
I love a good Daim bar with coffee to go.
I Norway you can get them anywhere.
Food is generally expensive in Norway.
I think we top the world statistics. So 2 US Dollars it is here to.
My favorite, the Snickers bar, is 3 Dollars and it makes my weight scale burst.
Daim is also an ingredient in a tasty cake recipe.
It can be found on the internet.
Sounds yummy.
No doubt a delicious treat. A high price, $2.60 AUD is $2.43 USD on the official rate today. We would pay for a 'regular' candy bar about $1.25. But a tasty treat, not a 'regular' one, once in a while is a luxury, so thinking about it that way, a small price to pay!
l can understand the joy you get when you find chocolate that is hard to find! when we lived in Dubai..we had to bring in Cadburies creme eggs secretly because they were banned! then when we lived in Papua New Guinea..it was proper English chocolate..it is not the same as Australian chocolate!
