MY BUILDING
It's amazing what a little perspective adds; the building I work in is about 60 stories tall and has the most amazing views.
The exterior from the main entrance, looking up. I sit on the floor just below where the building goes in--level 44!
What the building isn't is it's not aesthetically interesting. It's like justa bout every other building built during the 1980s: a square, glass covered box. And the lifts are the worst: they are so slow, and last week the one I was in came to a sudden stop and the doors had to be forced open so we could get out! Not a pleasant experience.
What it does have, however, is location, location, location. It's located almost in the middle of town, it's built above a loop train station and is part of the best shopping complex in town. I don't even have to leave the complex to get to the centre of town, which is brilliant when it's really cold or hot. That alone makes this the best building I've ever worked in.
