95 sleeps to go

I've already got my leave for July approved and it's only 95 sleeps to go until Horace and I go to the Blue Mountains for a week.

It's been almost 35 years since I visited the Blue Mountains at age 14 with my uncle Stanley (mum's brother) and aunt Doreen and sister Carol. Carol and I had a wonderful week visiting them in Sydney, and the Blue Mountains was only one of the places they took us.

And Horace has never been to the Blue Mountains.

So I'm looking forward to a relaxing time away from all the responsibilities of life: work, the house and the girls ... and the opportunity to revisit one of the most beautiful spots in Australia and one I remember very fondly.
