I got this week's flea market finds a couple of weeks ago ... and I still love it.
I was in one of my local op shops ... and generally I don't find much in there and it tends to be a little over priced most of the time.
And this pretty etched glass water jug is a great example.
It had $8 on it and I had to query it. It turns out it was the price for the jug and a matching bowl ... which was pretty but I don't need.
In the end I was told the set could be broken up ... and for the measly price of $4.
I'm very happy and now have a gorgeous vase.
Doesn't it look beautiful?

What a great find! It really is beautiful! Now I need to go to the flea market!!
Thanks for stopping by the other day.
That jug is gorgeous - reminds me of some that my grandmother had.
very pretty! and what lovely roses!
Very nice - what a bargain!
What a great find - its a decent size too!
I do love a nice jug! It is lovely. I was looking for an oppy jug everywhere to put my utensils in in the kitchen. I ended up getting one from Ikea, but I haven't given up on finding a jug thrifting to put flowers in like yours. :)
PS. Thanks for entering the giveaway. It is cooling down a bit here on the Gold Coast too as we head into Winter, but I do need to be reminded about the good things about Summer, so I am not loathing it as it approaches again. :)
Perfect find and it makes a great vase, the roses look stunning.
It does look beautiful! I love flowers in a jug rather than a vase, more homely I think...
I agree, flowers do look nicer in a jug rather than a vase, and that jug is so pretty. xxNick
