A DIFFERENT KIND OF BOOK
Since the whole trip thing has really started to go crazy I can't interest myself in 19th century literature again.
And so I've turned back to the books I love so well ... a sort of history, sometimes sci-fi and definitely epic journey all rolled into one.
The two I've most recently read.
Nothing fits that spot so well as Edward Rutherford's books, and I've worked my way through London and Sarum in a really short space of time. If I could find his Russia second hand I would have finished that already.
What I want to start on next is the Diana Gabaldon series ... but I think my friend Suzanne has the first book and I don't want to read them out of sequence.
Maybe I can find it secondhand overseas ... fingers crossed.
