But I didn't buy it for me. I have some recollection of someone's blog with a post about how they wanted a picnic basket and here I was faced with five! In fact offered the whole five for $10, but took just one for $5!
But do you think I can remember whose blog I was reading? Of course not!
So here's my way forward to sending this little darling off to a new home.
The giveaway is limited to people in Melbourne or Ballarat(or have a relative/friend etc in either of those places) ... this darn thing weighs around 500gms so I don't want to mail it! (PS I'm happy to wear a red carnation and meet in a crowded train station to hand it over ... this isn't a crazy stalking thing!)
The first person (who meets the Melbourne/Ballarat thing) and who posts a link to their blog about wanting a picnic basket will be the lucky winner.
If that doesn't happen, Mr H will draw a random name of the lucky Ballarat/Melbourne winner.
The giveaway will end Monday 8 March (because of the long weekend) and because I won't be around to finalise this. Mr H will draw the winner Tuesday 9 March.
I'll remind people every day of the giveaway and a post on any day will count.
Good luck everybody.
PS If you're looking for more Flea Market Finds pop on over to Her Library Adventures.
Well that is so very nice of you. I hope you find the mystery picnic basket person...

it was Punky's mama Vic who was bemoaning missing out on a picnic basket set at a recent garage sale..i'll let her know about your giveaway
ReplyDeleteI have been having trouble with my computer and leaving comments and this is now the 4th time I have tried... wish me luck!
ReplyDeleteI do love a good find amongst trash and treasure markets and whilst I love the picnic basket, and very generous, please don't add me for the giveaway as I already have one stashed somewhere at my parent's home and it would be wasted on me.
Good luck in finding the right person!
Fabulous picnic basket, just lovely, now I want to go on a picnic!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for playing along.
